| Horgan makes a great hit and roll to
weld into a pile of rocks at the back of the twelve foot to lay shot.
Miharija gives it a good look but wisely decides to draw and goes to top
eight to take 1. |

| Horgan has hit for 3 but jams on a
rock in the back twelve and takes 2. |
| End 4 |
| With Miharija having shot rock welded
to a yellow rock in the back twelve Horgan concedes the possibility of 2
by hitting second shot. Miharija cooling draws to the 4 foot to
take 2. |

| Miharija lays 1 partially buried
behind a centre guard but available through a tiny port but Horgan is
2nd and 3rd in the twelve foot. Miharija calls a time out and
contemplates the possibilities. Finally decides to hit third shot.
Horgan looks a the port but finally decides to play an angle raise hit
for two but the rock does not curl enough and Miharija steals 1. |

| Miharija attempts a hit and roll for
shot on her last shot but hits the object rock too thick and rolls for
second shot. Horgan needs a piece of the 4 foot for 2 but slips to
the back 8 foot to take 1. |

| Centre guard up and Miharija attempts
to draw around but picks and wrecks on the guard. Horgan on her
last attempts the same come around and is inside and wrecks as well.
Miharija throws it through to blank the end and retain the hammer. |

| Horgan freezes to second shot on the
back of the 4 foot. Miharija plays a nose hit for one. |
| End 9 |
| Red centre guard. Auld attempts
a come around and comes up short. Stephen attempts come around on
the out turn side but comes to a stop in the 8 foot in the open.
Begin hits and rolls into the open. Gates tries the hit and roll
behind cover but only rolls a smidgeon. Begin tries the hit and
roll but noses. Gates again tries the hit and roll but only gets
1/2 buried. Miharija looks at the squeeze but decides on the run
back. Run back hangs but she clears the front and rolls the other
guard into the 8 foot for shot but wide open. Horgan hits and
rolls behind her own rock to the 4 foot. Horgan lays 2.
Miharija makes the double and rolls out. Horgan blanks. |

| Langs first rock picks! Barbeau
tosses a corner guard. Lang makes the centre guard three feet in
front of the rings. Barbeau draws around the centre guard 1/4
buried top 8. Auld attempts the corner freeze but bumps the shot
rock back to edge of button. Stephen attempts the wide open hit
but picks and wrecks on the centre guard. Auld hits and rolls out
on the wide open shot rock. Stephen makes the hit and roll behind
a corner guard 1/2 buried in the top 8. Begin picks the shot rock.
No rocks in the rings but 2 corner guards. Gates attempts come
around on higher corner but ends up wide open on the tee line in the 4
foot. Begin plays a quiet hit and roll but rolls further into the
open. Gates plays the hit and roll to the further corner but
remains wide open on the tee line in the 4 foot. Miharija plays
the hit and roll behind cover but remains open in the 8 foot on the tee
line just off the 4 foot right side. Horgan calls for a freeze but
is a little heavy and tapes the red rock to the back 8 foot right side.
The shot rock is wide open just nibbling the 4 foot. There is a
jam possibility. Miharija plays the hit and makes it to lay two in
the full 8 foot and back 8. Horgan calls for the hit and noses it
and counts 1. Extra End. |

| Barbeau makes the centre guard 6 feet
from the rings. Lang attempts the tick on the centre guard but and
raises the yellow rock to the wide right 12 foot just biting.
Barbeau tries another centre guard but over curls for a corner guard
left hand side. Lang clears her own centre guard. Stephen
puts up the centre guard once again. Auld peels the centre guard.
Stephen centre guard is very tight. Auld peels the centre guard
again. Gates tries the come around on the corner guard but stops
on the tee line in the 4 foot wide open. Begin hangs a hit but
makes it and rolls out. Gates tosses a centre guard. Begin
peels the centre guard. Horgan throws the centre guard.
Miharija peels the guard. Horgan attempts the come around on the
corner. The rock remains 3/4 open. Miharija has the hit for
the win. The rock hangs a little and hits but rolls with sweeping
to the back 12 for second shot. Horgan wins! |
