| First rock in the rings, 14 hits and a
hit and roll out by Harnden, blank end. Banking time for some
serious thinking! |
| End 2 |
| Many attempts to get around a guard
that is just off centre. Harnden hits, jams and rolls into the
open with his first rock. Theriault hits and sticks to sit two.
Harnden draws to the pin to take 1. |
| End 3 |
| First rock in the rings again and a
repeat of end 1. Theriault hits and rolls out to blank the end. |
| End 4 |
| Harnden draws to the button almost
completely behind cover on his last one but leaves a thin double for
Theriault. Theriault needs to squeeze the double with his last
stone. He makes the double but spins back up sheet and Harnden
scores 1 with a rock in the full 12 foot. |
| End 5 |
| Harnden makes a fine double on his
first rock and rolls behind a corner guard for shot. Theriault
draws around the centre guard but comes deep to the back twelve.
Harnden attempts the same draw but is heavy and they let it tick off the
centre guard and roll behind the corner guard. Theriault looking
at 2 draws to the 4 foot to take 1. |

| Theriault hits and sticks 1/2 buried
behind a centre guard but Harnden lays 2nd and 3rd shot. Harnden
plays a quiet hit with strong sweeping to take out the Theriault shot
stone and take 3. Eric takes his first breath since the 1st end. |
| End 7 |
| Theriault tries to mix it up and get
something going but a couple of Team Harnden clearing doubles and a
Theriault split that taps the rock through the rings and a couple of
hits traded leads to a blank end. |
| End 8 |
| Harnden is looking at 2 when he throws
his first rock. He tries to squeeze by a hog line centre line
guard with hack weight to take out shot rock but is a little light and
wrecks. Theriault draws to the 4 foot to lay 3. Harnden
wastes no time and calls a double, throws a bullet and makes it.

| Theriault on his first calls for a
guard but comes into the rings with Harnden laying shot in the top 8
foot. Harnden takes out the Theriault rock. Theriault
attempts to draw around the rock in the top 8 but comes up short.
Harnden draws to the tee line and takes 2. The velcro snap is
heard all the way to grand stands and Theriault shakes hands.
